• Understand international labor instruments, such as Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and ILO Conventions.
• Have a brief overview of the Labor Laws in addressing social accountability and responsibility of an organization.
• Define and understand the requirements of the most common social accountability requirements - Standard and Code of Conducts, such as Child labour, Forced Labour, Health & Safety, Discrimination, Harassment, Freedom of Association, Disciplinary practices, Working Hours and Remuneration.
• Have an overview of the potential range of social issues that face organizations and auditors.
• Understand the purpose of management system in effective implementation of social accountability requirements.
• Define the components for the design, implementation, and improvement of the social accountability management system – The Social Performance Team, Stakeholder & Worker Engagement, Risk Management approach, Data Collection, Monitoring & Measurement.
